hopeless romantic; he was born on valentines day, and is a bit of a hopeless romantic. he's the type of guy that most girls dream about but never actually date, for reasons that are unknown to anyone and everyone. it suits him just fine though, because instead of just dating around, he'd rather wait until he finds a girl he knows he can last a long time with. he believes in love, true love, and things of that nature.
dedicated; dedication is one of his strongest points; whether it be to his music career or his friends. his dedication to both is pretty much unbreakable. his friends are his family, and he loves them all immensely and would do anything for them, as they would for him. as for his music career, it's his passion and he loves to do it and lives for every moment of it.
vegetarian; the slaughter of animals is sickening to him. he refuses to eat any meat, even seafood, and he sticks to it like glue. the slogan "meat is murder" is one he supports, and very proudly. he's been a vegetarian since he was twelve years old, after seeing a video in his health class about the slaughtering process.
straight edge; he has never wanted to drink, or smoke, or do anything even close to those, so he's chosen to be a straight edge. he doesn't like the way those things affect people and make them act. he's seen people's inhibitions go out of the window because of alcohol, and he watched his grandfather die of lung cancer from smoking all of his life. he would rather just avoid those things than have to deal with the pain they can cause.
goofy; he's a silly kid, loving to laugh and loving to make other people laugh by doing random things, making silly faces, or telling lame jokes that you just can't help but laugh at. he always has a smile on his face and is very rarely ever in a bad mood. he thinks that life is just too good to take seriously or to bother being angry about stupid little things that will never actually matter.

( H I S T O R Y )February Fourteenth is known worldwide as Valentines day, the day where people get cute cards and gifts from their sweethearts. But for the Shaw's, a very different gift arrived, probably the best one a young married couple can receive. Their son came into the world on Valentines day, screaming his head off; and immediately the two knew their son was going to be something special. And indeed he was; at a young age he began to exhibit unique characteristics. Most kids his age didn't want to share, but young Christofer seemed to have no problem sharing any of his toys with any one who wanted to play with them; it didn't matter to him whether he was playing with it or not. As he grew up and began to make friends, it was clear that he truly did have a heart of gold. Though, it was not always a good thing for him; there were occasions where people would walk right over him and take advantage of him, but he was a resilient kid and always bounced right back with a lesson learned.
When he was twelve years old, tragedy shook the young boy's life. His parents were flying home from a second honeymoon in Paris, France when a malfunction occurred with the jet's engine and it plummeted to the ground at an alarming rate. There were no survivors, and when the new reached his grandmother, she didn't know how to tell him. She simply knew that she had to, so she sat in the kitchen until he came home from school and sat him down, breaking the news to him as gently as possible. Seeing the look on his face as denial set in, then shock, her heart broke as the thirteen year old boy broke into tears and collapsed onto the floor, screaming and sobbing. The rest of the year he spent being homeschooled as depression began to set in. By the age of fourteen, he was back in school and had almost completely recovered from losing his parents, though he absolutely refused to talk about it. It was the same year that he returned to school that his grandfather on his mother's side passed away from lung cancer from smoking, which caused the kid to vow he would never smoke. He also vowed he would never drink or do any drugs, after having been to a couple of parties and seeing what both did to people. On his fifteenth birthday, he lost his virginity to a girl he had been dating for four months. Finding it not as great as most everyone made it out to be, he refused to have sex with her again, and not long after the two broke up.
He went through the rest of his high school days, not bothering to get into any more relationships, no matter how much he liked the girl. After breaking up with his last girlfriend, he decided he would just rather wait until he found a girl he knew he could last a while with, possibly forever. He stuck to it like glue, turning down girl after girl, explaining to them why he couldn't date them. Finally, a few days after his sixteenth birthday, one girl won him over. After six months of dating, the two decided that they loved each other. By now, Christofer's music had grown fairly big on myspace, and a couple of record labels had contacted him. Two weeks after their six months, he signed with one of the labels that was in Los Angeles, and his music skyrocketed, as did his fame. One year and a couple of months after he had started dating the girl, him now being seventeen, they sat down and began to talk. She was going to college, and he was going to chase his music career. He was now well known, and NeverShoutNever had become widely popular. After much talk, and tearshed on the girl's part, the two broke up with the girl's claim that they wouldn't work, simply because they were going different directions after graduation. It's been 9 months since the breakup, and the two are still friends. He's now touring about, doing what he loves the most, and what he's always dreamed of doing.
