She knew he had no clue just how far she would go, and she liked that. I meant she could have fun, but if she ever changed her mind he would never get mad about her teasing, because that’s all he ever expected it to be, but at any time she could surprise him and go through with it, have fun for the both of them, that’s what she loved about there friendship. There was no pressure, they already looked like a couple to half the world, but they weren’t, and while that was nice, it also saddened Jennifer. Because she knew any girl that ended up nabbing Johnny had it set. Because that girl would have one of the best guys in New York City. Jennifer knew this. She had been around Johnny’s so many years, she knew he had his down side, but his good sides over powered all the bed. So looking up at Johnny as he spoke, Jennifer smiled. “Would it be one of those just look, don’t touch things or..?” Jennifer smiled widely as she bit her bottom lip. She knew she could have so much fun answering this. So looking back at the run way, as the girls passed, Jennifer leaned in close to Johnny. "Now what fun is it to any one if it’s a look but don’t touch. That’s teasing and that’s mean. So it’s what you want it to be Johnny Johnson." She whispered before leaning away. The whole time she spoke, her eyes were on the run way, and they still were. She would get that dress before leaving; now rather he believed she would or not, Jennifer didn’t know. Johnny could be a hard guy to read at times.
As Jennifer watched the catwalk, she noticed Johnny watching her. She smiled to her a self a little but it wasn’t any thing he would notice. But she liked that he was watching her. He did that every now and then, and she was never sure why. He would just watcher he was she did random things, like today with the catwalk. He would also watch her as she did dish's or watched TV. Or other little things she would do around his house why she was crashing there so she wouldn’t have to spend so much time on the trains or in a cab. But after a while of letting him look at her she turned to him and smile, and watched him as he gave her a small smile. That’s when she had taken his hand into hers and started to play with it. She liked playing with his hands. They were so big and manly. She was also soft. She liked that he had soft hands, strong but gentle. Looking down at their hands and then back up at his face, she watched as he closed his eyes and enjoyed. She knew he liked this, and that was part of the reason of why she was doing it. But she was also playing with his hands, because she had a need to be touching him. She wanted to be close to him, and to feel him, and this seemed like the easiest way in this crowd, and with out fearing a bad reaction from Johnny. She was never sure why, but she was always scared that he was going to look at her one day, and tell her, her teasing was to much and they were just friends. While he never gave her any reason to believe this, she still feared it. But she feared a lot with him. She trusted him but she still feared of things. But it wasn’t long before he opened his eyes again and looked back over at her, and she smiled, but never moved her hand. But she was glad it was dark. It set a tone, she wasn’t sure what the tone was, but there was a tone. There was always tone on these nights. Rather it was a night for her or a night for him; it was still like a date. It was a night where it was ok to blur lines and show the feelings that any other time they kept hidden. Well it was that way for Jennifer at leased, and it always seemed like Johnny joined her in that aspect, and didn’t mind.
Watching Johnny, Jennifer thought. They each knew so much about each other. Jennifer knew she knew more about him than his own family, and it went the other way. He was always there for her, and there was only one thing about her he didn’t know, and that was because she feared how he would think. That was how important he was to her. She always feared what he would think. She knew he was never judging, and she feared things she would never have to fear, not with him. He never really judged. He was a guy with a big ego, and yet, he was one of the most caring guys she knew. She never understood how he could be that way, normally guys that looked like that, were ass wholes, and while to most people he could seem that way, and with the reputation he had gathered, most people was sure he was that way, but Jennifer knew it was different, and she knew any one who tried to look past rumors, and his hard exterior, they to would know that he wasn’t what he seemed. But then again, people looked at her the same way. They thought she was just some skinny model, who only cared about her looks, but in reality Jennifer was a hard worker, she did things for her self, and she wasn’t waited on.
After telling Johnny about who to look out for and explained about some of the people who were here and he would see at the after party, she asked if she could stay over and share his bed with him, and he responded simply and coolly “Yeah, as long as I’m allowed in my own bed.” Jennifer smiled and looked over at him, "I’m counting on it." She told him with a wink, before turning back to the catwalk, the smile still plastered to her face. She loved teasing him, but what she loved more was sharing that bed with him. It would never end up with any thing more than a small make out session. But there are times when all they did was cuddle, or not touch at all, and even that was fine, but just knowing that Johnny was on the other side of that bed felt good to her. Other times she would just sleep on the sofa or guest room, but there were a few times she would ask to join him, and tonight was one of them, and she wasn’t sure why, except for the pull she had been feeling towards him lately. She wasn’t sure what the pull meant, but it made her want to be near him. Jennifer was just so confused. She didn’t know what these feelings were or where they came from. She just wished she knew how he felt. It would help her better understand how she felt, but she was scared to ask. She was scared to be feeling what she felt. She was just scared period, and she wasn’t even sure why.
As the show was finishing, Jennifer turned and whispered to Johnny "You know were meant for each other." Before she stood up and started to get ready to go. When she was ready she turned to Johnny and smiled. "Wait right here. I need to go talk to some one." She told him, and before he could even shake his head or say any thing, Jennifer was off. She wanted to go talk to the designer of the dress she whore, before any one else could. She wanted to buy the dress before any one else could. So she headed back down the isle, to the back room, where the designers were sure to be, and as she walked she thought. Johnny hadn’t said any thing to her comment, and it made her frown as she walked away from him. He didn’t make any sounds or nothing, and she wasn’t sure how to take that. And now she really wished she had never said any thing. Jennifer ran a hand through her hair as she sighed, and placed a smile on her face.
Once reaching the door to the back, Jennifer spoke to the guy, reminding them who she was. "Oh sweetie, you don’t have to remind me." He said as he started to open the door. Jennifer laughed and rolled her eyes as she entered, and started to scan the back room, that was now full off people in a rush of putting things up so they could go to the after party. Jennifer blinked and then heard her name. She flashed the girl a smile and mouthed, later, before starting to walk further into the room, looking for the girl who had made the dress, and it wasn’t hard to find her. She soon heard the ladies loud voice, and she sighed. The lady was slightly annoying, and normally she would just run, but she wanted to get the dress to surprise Johnny. It meant a lot to her. So walking up to the lady, Jennifer spoke. "Hello there Ms. Dawson." She said then waited for the lady to turn around. "Hello there Ms Shelton." she said to Jennifer with a smile. "I must thank you for modeling my dress, it looks amazing on you." She said as she turned and started to speak to her assistant. Jennifer was use to this, and knew it was ok to keep speaking, so that was what she did. "Well Ms Dawson, that was what I wanted to speak to you about. I was wondering if I could buy your dress." Jennifer said, and then waited for the lady to turn back to her.
After a short while of wealing and dealing, Jennifer headed back out of the room, a smile on her face. She had ended up getting the dress for twenty five percent of the price because the lady had been so happy with her walk. Jennifer was happy to pay such a small amount for a one of a kind dress. But as she got closer to Johnny she let her wide smile into a small smile. Then when she reached him, she sat down on his lap before he could stand. She then wrapped her arms around his neck and started to speak. "Santa I want a pony, and a dolly, and a pretty dress." She told him with a smile, before she started to laugh. She then looked at him, blinking once before looking at him in the eyes. "You ready?" she finally got out, but she never looked away from his eyes. They had her locked. They were so deep, and he was so perfect, and the next thing she knew, she was pressing her lips to his again. She wasn’t sure what she was doing, but what she did know, was that she was kissing him, and her hands were going up his neck to his hair where she clutched, even though there wasn’t much to clutch to. She kissed him with force and passion, but she wasn’t sure if he would see it the same way. Then as quickly as she had kissed him, she pulled away and stood up. "Well we better head over to the party." She told him with a smile as she waited for him to join her.
Once he was up, Jennifer reached into his jacket pocket, took out her purse, and then took his hand to lead him to the party room. Walking, with Johnny at her side, Jennifer kept her eyes straight, never looking over at Johnny, as they left one room, entered the hall, and then headed to the room next door. It was a big ball room that was set up with a D.J. Dance floor, food and tables. It was nice, and very crowded. As they entered the room, Jennifer looked up at Johnny, as they stopped a little inside the door. "What do you want to do first?" She asked him. "It’s your pick. But you do have to dance with me some time before we leave." She told him with a smile. Jennifer’s hand was still in his hand, and it made her want to smile even wider, but she had no real reason to, so she hid it.
