Her nerves were firing off through her entire body and her hands were shaking a bit. It had been a month since her family had taken a vacation to Hollywood, and Robbie had come along with them, and during the vacation, Holly had auditioned for a part in a movie, just for fun so she'd be able to say she did something she'd always wanted to do. Drama and acting were her passions, and Robbie knew that. Naturally, he hadn't wanted her to go to the audition, but she assured him it would just be for fun and that she more than likely wouldn't get the part. At least, that's what she had originally thought. A phone call she had received a mere hour before had proven that she was completely wrong; she had gotten the part. Granted, she was stoked about it, and her parents were excited for her; but now the hard part would be telling Robbie. Their eleven month mark was creeping up slowly, but surely, and she was just as crazy about him as he was for her. She was sure that he wouldn't be thrilled about the prospect of her flying out to California for god knows how long to do her part for the movie. Sighing heavily and pushing her car door open, she stepped out and shut it behind her, making sure it was locked before she made her way to the front door of his house, her nerves still firing.
Rapping her knuckles across the door, she stood patiently, waiting for him to answer the door, her mind running in all sorts of directions. She was almost certain that he would respond in one of two ways; he would either be happy for her, or he would be mad and forbid her from going. If he forbade her, she didn't know what she'd do. Of course she would try to talk some sense into him and get him to see that this was the opportunity of a lifetime, something big that she shouldn't have to miss out on, though he probably wouldn't see it that way. She knew she meant a lot to him, and she knew it would be hard for him to let her go for a few weeks, but it wasn't as if she were going forever. She couldn't, and wouldn't, do that to him. Not in a million years. Truth be told, she loved the boy with her entire heart, even if she hadn't said it to him out loud yet. She was waiting for the day when he would say it, and she would wait as long as she had to to hear those three words come from his lips. Shifting her weight, she waited patiently until he answered the door, her nerves making her hands shake just the slightest bit as she pulled on a hangnail that had been irritating her for the past week. Pulling her jacket down a bit after removing the hangnail, she sighed softly, and let her mind wander to Christofer. The poor boy hadn't been himself lately. He'd been down and out after not being able to find the girl he had seen. She knew it had to be rough on him. She didn't know what she'd do if it were her and Robbie; that boy meant tons to her.
Hearing some rustling on the other side of the door, she snapped back to attention quickly, her heart beginning to pound in her chest. It was close to their eleven month mark, and she didn't want to mess anything up now, but he was her boyfriend and he had a right to know what was going on in her life, especially about her getting the part. It was such a huge deal, that she couldn't hide it from him. She wouldn't have been able to anyways. Hoping desperately that he would be excited instead of upset, she turned her attention to the door. It still hadn't budged one bit, but there was definitely some movement on the other side of it. It could have just been James, rustling about in the kitchen, now on his way to answer. Maybe Robbie was out skating with Seth, but she doubted that. She would know, because she would have heard it from at least one of them, considering one was her boyfriend and the other her cousin. Inhaling deeply in an attempt to relax her racing brain and slow her pounding heart, she unclenched her fists and knocked on the door again, hoping this time someone would answer. Whoever was there probably hadn't heard her the first time, and it hadn't occured to her to ring the doorbell. No, she was far too nervous to even begin to think to do the obvious thing that most people would do. Hearing more rustling, she felt her whole body tense up slightly. She was more than well aware Robbie could read her like a book; it wasn't like she ever hid what she was feeling. More often than not, she wore her heart on her sleeve, and she liked it that way. But today was just one of those days where she wished she could just stuff it all away, and act like everything was fine, at least for a little while.

I'MFEELINGROUGH FORGET ABOUT OUR MOTHERS AND OUR FRIENDS WE'REFATEDTOPRETEND • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • robbie couldn't say he was happy, well he was happy, he was famous and he got the best girlfriend around the world, well to him holly was everything even thought he didn't say those three little words to her yet, he was just waiting for the right moment, well the right moment has come lots and lots of time but robbie didn't seem to find himself to say it to her, was the question did he love her even out there? no he loved her, more than he ever loved anyone before but he was afraid to tell her he did loved her because if he did told her he couldn't stand if they got separated after a couple of months or something but if something happened and he didn't have the change to actually tell her what he felt about her? well that would be so much worse, the fact that he lost her and that he couldn't tell her anymore what he felt about her. it would probably kill him inside like nothing ever did! he took a deep breathe as he hung up the phone and sighed hard. well this sucked. she got the part, she got that part she ran for when they were in hollywood. he really couldn't believe she did it, he was happy for her, he knew deep inside she was going to get the part, she was so talented and good at what she did, she actually was going to be one day a great actress he strongly believed that but... he couldn't stand to be away from her so much time. he was too overprotective over her, he couldn't stand when other looked at her in a different way it made him go and punch him hard in the face and make them apologize because that was the way he worked when it came to holly. he walked back to his living room sitting on the couch where james was playing gears of wars two, sometimes he hated how nerdy and geek he was, he was his twin but they were different in so many ways, he bit his lower lip looking to him, but james caught him and read him like a book. there were only two people in the world that could read him like a book that was james and holly, they could always find out what e was thinking and what he was feeling even if he didn't say a word, it creeped robbie a lot of times but he was the same with holly and james, he could read them like a book, it was something not even him understood. "whats the matter rob?!" he asked as he put the game on pause and looked over.
robbie shook his had and brought his hands to rob his temples he really didn't know what to do, he couldn't stand holly leaving him for that long time, he never left for any kind of skate competition, and most of times he needed to go he just asked her to come with him, it was rare. he knew this wasn't right but he just couldn't accept it, he couldn't let her go. he looked to james and just bit his lower lip. “holly got that part i told you the other day!” he finally confessed! he knew what james was gonna say so he just anticipated himself to him. “i know what you gonna say, just save it people!” he said to his older twin as he just got up walking over to the kitchen, he didn't even hear the knock on the door, he was so out of himself he couldn't even think. he was creeped by his thoughts as he walked into the kitchen walking over to the fridge and taking one of his favorite drinks, gatorade. he jumped to be sitting on the counter and just think. “what should i do? i love her, i can't let her go, i need to talk to her.” he thought as he sipped his drink a few times, he had to talk to her, he had to let her know that he loved her even though he knew she knew it, she had been waiting for the last eleven months for him to tell her that maybe he should just do it, get it over with that! he heard the knock on the door as he saw james going to kitchen and nodding to him. “holly...” he thought instantly as he jumped off the counter and to the door. he took a deep breathe still holding his drink and opened his door for her. he tried to fake it but it was hard to wash away the frown he had on his lips. “hey babe!” he said to her as he moved a little so she could get in, he knew this was going to end a bit badly for his own taste and he hated when that happened.

Looking up at his face as he opened the door and greeted her, she felt her heart sink immediately. He already knew; the look on his face gave it away. Shaking her head slightly, she swore at herself for telling Seth that she had gotten the part. He had promised he wouldn't tell Robbie before she did, but she should have known better. The two were best friends, and they lived by the brocode pretty much. Forcing a smile, she tilted her head and gazed up at the boy standing before her, Hi sweetheart. She said as she stepped past him and into the house. Waving at James, her free hand found its way to Robbie's immediately. Looking back up at him again, she raised an eyebrow slightly, I'm not interrupting anything, am I? She knew that she wasn't, but the tension was so heavy that she was trying to get a conversation started so perhaps it wouldn't be quite as strenuous when she sat him down and told him about getting the part. After some idle chatter, she led him down the hall to his room before taking her usual seat on his bed. Sitting there, she smiled a bit as she grabbed the pillow she always kept here and pulled it to her; it was kind of like a comfort blanket, something she needed so desperately right now. She knew this was not going to end well by the way she had seen the boy who had captured her heart looking when he opened the door. She didn't want to do this, and she didn't want to leave him; she wanted him to come with her, but the fact of the matter is, she was going for free, and for him to go along, she would have to purchase his ticket and get them a hotel or something to stay in, and she didn't know how long filming was going to be going on for. There was simply no way for him to be able to go with her, and it broke her heart because she desperately wanted and needed him to go. He was the thing that kept her sane most of the time. Sure, her family was supportive and amazing, but they could drive her absolutely mad. The only thing in this world that kept her sane was Robbie, and without him she simply didn't know what she would do.
She exhaled heavily and closed her eyes, putting her forehead on her knees as she attempted to collect her thoughts before she started to speak. She didn't want to just blurt out that she got the part and upset him even more, though she was almost one hundred percent certain that he already knew, thanks to her cousin. After a few moments, she opened her eyes and looked up at Robbie, I've got something pretty important to tell you.. Swallowing her fear, she lowered her eyes as her voice quieted slightly. It was now or never, I got that part I tried for. Filming starts in a month Bracing herself, she was ready to hear the worst come from his mouth; him forbidding her to go. She knew that it would more than likely happen, for the simple fact that he was hard headed to boot, and they hadn't been separated for more than a week's time. Yet, she was hoping he wouldn't say she couldn't go. She had never told him he couldn't do anything he wanted to do, no matter what it had been, from parties with seth to skate competitions. No wasn't in her vocabulary when it came to him, but even if it had been, she wouldn't have said no, simply because she knew he enjoyed skating and everything that came with it. Thinking of leaving him now caused tears to threaten her wellbeing, but she mentally strengthened herself and awaited for his reply. She wouldn't cry now, over a silence that could mean nothing. But the fear was gripping her, and she couldn't bring herself to look up at him. She knew the way his face would show what he was feeling, without even having to look. So, instead, she sat there quietly, fiddling with the edge of her pillowcase, waiting in silence for him to respond, although it seemed that he was taking an eternity. That was the problem with situations like these, time seemed to pass so slowly.
Finally, a small bit of courage gripped her and she lifted her head, looking at him, though the look on his face only made her heart sink yet again. Nervousness set in immediately, and she could feel her heartbeat picking up pace slightly and her hands beginning to shake. The signs of an oncoming panic attack were beginning to show, but she refused to let him see that. Taking deep breaths through her nose as inconspicously as she could, she slowed her heart rate and calmed her racing mind and shaking hands. There was no reason to panic yet. He was simply absorbing the information, right? His lack of response couldn't mean that much, could it? Holly wasn't so sure; deep in her heart, she could feel that all hell was about to break loose between her and Robbie. Silently, she hoped that his brother had left the house, because this could easily turn out to be utterly disastrous, and she would hate for James to hear the things that could possibly occur once this monstrous silence was broken. Lowering her eyes from his face again, she chewed her bottom lip as she allowed her mind to fill with numbing thoughts; a million scenarios of what could happen once he spoke, the worst one being him leaving her over this. Surely he wouldn't? Not over something so petty. She was certain he wouldn't throw away eleven months over something so small. Then, she sighed. It wasn't small. Sure, it seemed like nothing to her, because it was something she had been dreaming about her entire life. But to him, it was something huge. The familiarity and sense of security he had begun to have with Holly was now being threatened, and he wouldn't take kindly to anything threatening the stability he had grown to know in their relationship. She knew him very well to know that he wouldn't stand for her to go, not when he was faced with being without her by his side for a few months. And with that realization, all hope she had that he would understand, vanished. Now, she sat there, drowning in the silence and waiting for the storm to come.
