* NOAH ( JAMES ) WINCHESTER ,
it had just gone six and noah was still moving around the apartment that he shared with his wife, making it look a little more presentable than normal. it wasn't particularly messy but he was trying so hard to stay on the right side of her at the moment and he figured keeping the place tidy was a good start. since he'd been home, he'd flicked through a couple of newspapers which he'd then strewn across the coffee table. he'd made himself a strong coffee, the reminents of which had been left in the kitchen, a few dvd cases were left on the table, and a pizza box from last night had been on the floor. so he tidied those up and now he was in the bedroom. he'd just got out of the shower and he was messing with his hair, trying to get it to lie flat. it was no use, it was an organised mess on his head and it seemed that it was going to stay that way. he dressed quickly in a long sleeved t-shirt and jeans and made his way back into the living area.
he felt stupid being like this, dressing up, well not exactly dressing up but usually at this time he'd be wearing sweat pants and a vest. something way more casual and homely than what he was wearing. in a way, he felt like it was probably going to be a wasted effort but he had to give it a go. he set the table with cutlery, place mats and then he put a menu for the local chinese take out at both of the places. he was a terrible cook and even though he liked gabby's cooking, she wasn't brilliant either. it was much safer to order in, both in terms of fire and of food poisoning. he'd tried to convince her to let him cook but it just wasn't happening so he'd resigned himself to chinese instead. it was silly putting a menu in his place. he had the same thing every time but it was the formality that he was going for. after everything was done, the wine on the side along with a bunch of flowers, he threw himself onto the sofa, his feet up on the coffee table with the tv on. time to relax before the drama began.
but while he was lay there, he couldn't stop thinking. no bottle of wine or bunch of expensive roses was going to change the mood tonight. gabby wanted a baby, she'd made that very obvious. noah on the other hand wanted to wait, and he'd made that very obvious. so they were at loggerheads. gabby seemed to think she could talk him into it and noah was determined that it wasn't going to happen. he brought his hand to his head and sighed, rubbing his eyes. he had so many reasons and to him, they were perfectly valid but she just couldn't see it. there were so many flaws with her plans. money wasn't one of them.but first off, they'd only been married a year, and even that was a pretty rushed affair. they hadn't done it properly anyway. then there was their careers. they were both just starting off, a baby would ruin all that. it would ruin everything. it just wasn't the right time, nor were they in the right place, in terms of their relationship and their physical home. if they were arguing about it as much as they were, surely it wasn't a good idea? and although their apartment was two storeys, penthouse, four bedrooms, he wanted to bring his children up in a real home, somewhere in country maybe, away from the bustle and pollution of the city, and there was no way he could get out of the city at the moment.
he just hoped she'd listen to him, although he knew the chances of that were fairly slim, bearing in mind he'd told it all to her before. he looked at the rolex on his wrist and sighed again. she wasn't even late and he was already getting paranoid. he lay back again and tried to watch tv again, quite unsuccessfully.

Tick Tock. All she could do was watch the clock move slowly. She was ready to go home, but she was currently in a meeting, but not actually paying attention to her surroundings. Every once in a while she would focus back in to look at a model on the huge plasma screen, but after that she was right back in her own world. She was so ready to go, and well then again she wasn't. She wanted to stay at the office and avoid going home. Her and Noah was happy, no doubt about it. She loved him more than she did when they actually got married. It seemed like she loved him more each day, and it wasn't a surprise. It was just that she came to the time in her life where she was ready to start their own family, and he wasn't. She didn't know how to take that. He was so determined to not have one and she was so determined to have a daughter or son of her own. He wasn't ready and gave her all these reasons. She usually ignored him, and ended up in tears. It seemed like he didn't care, which she couldn't understand. She was sure he loved her, she was more than sure. You don't just have their history and let everything they had go down the drain like that. It was just this baby thing was putting a strain on everything. She really wanted one, and a marriage was suppose to be compromise. Neither of them wanted to compromise about this, it was a big part of their future.
Clicking her pen she pushed her seat back, glad that the meeting was over. She had a few work to do but she really didn't want to, at lease not right now. She needed to call a few models to let the know they needed to come in tomorrow morning at 8 o'clock so she could see their portfolios. She was so late on her work she was stressing about her personal life, then the fact that her and Noah just couldn't seem to agree on this one simple but major part of their lives. Either they would have a baby or not, she was planning on having one. She didn't want to be one of those girlfriends or wives that tricked their boyfriends or husband into something. She wanted him to know and be excited as her when she spoke those two words 'we're pregnant'. She knew he wasn't going to be happy, he probably be pissed. Though every time the two did make love she would try so hard for him to not use a condom, and she was no longer on birth control. She she guess she was somewhat tricking him, but that was a price she had to pay to get the family she wanted. She wanted it so bad, and it hurt her that he didn't want that with her. They had money, maybe way too much money. The fact that both of their parents were loaded. Then he talked about careers. She was a model agent, she could do that from home most of the time, and he owned his own business. Its the family business, he could take a small week off or two. Their house was way big enough, she really didn't understand why they couldn't try now. She wanted a baby boy or girl now.
Running a shaky hand through her blonde locks she moved her mouse around. She let it click out of her files, and made to save all her unfinished work, and anything she did need saved. Grabbing her Gucci purse that probably cost half half a grand, she headed down towards the elevator. Living in LA there was a lot of cooperate buildings and hers was one of them, as well as her husbands. There were floors she had yet to been own, and probably never really see a use to go to that floor in the first place. Gabby had thought LA was a nice place to raise a baby, what teenager don't you know once in their life not wanting to live here. Noo, Noah wanted to raise the baby in the country, where all the fresh air and no pollution mumble jumbo was. She just didn't know about that. Her family was in LA, and though Noah's family and him weren't the closest, didn't mean she wasn't close with her own family. She wanted to stay, but compromise right. She would move to the country in a heartbeat if it meant she could have a baby with his blessing. Sighing she got onto the elevator and went down towards the parking lot. When the elevator dinged opened she dug into her purse grabbing her keys. Beeping her car unlock she got inside, tossing her purse into the passenger seat. She rested her head onto the steering wheel for a second, taking a deep breath. She was so not ready for whatever that was happening tonight. Maybe they wouldn't fight, maybe, that's probably not true though.
Gabrielle drove around the street of LA, not really planning on going home, not yet at lease. She couldn't, cause she knew that it would just lead to a lot of fighting, and yelling, and her ending up crying, and making Noah sleeping on the couch. She had to face it though. Though when she reached the apartment she parked into their garage, and grabbed her things before getting out the car. Her heart was beating fast, and hands were shaky a little. She was excited to see her husband of course, she just also wasn't so excited to see him at all, it was a little bit of both. Going towards the entrance she unlocked the door and spotted him siting on the couch. She smiled, her stomach getting butterflies, and her hurt squeezing a little. Though she had known him for so long he still gave her butterflies and all of that on just the sight of him. She walked over at towards him and gave him a small kiss, "So how was your day?" she looked around noticing the wine he had set out and the flowers. Well isn't that so sweet of him, maybe they wouldn't really fight. She sat down on the couch after taking off her designer shoes, and leaned up against him. Deciding she wouldn't yet discuss the baby, well the fact that she wanted the baby. "I missed you today," she linked her fingers with him as she looked at the side of his face.

* NOAH ( JAMES ) WINCHESTER ,
within a couple of minutes, he'd fallen to sleep. it had been a busy day in the office. he'd had two major meetings, several reports to write and some work still to do, although he'd promised gabby that she would have his full attention tonight so he intended to get up early and leave for work a couple of hours early in the morning so he could get himself up to date on the day ahead. he wasn't going to tell her that though. he'd just get up in the morning and kiss her before he left and hope she didn't ask questions. usually, they left around the same time so they did the whole morning routine thing around eachother, so he was pretty sure she'd be pissed but what could he do? he had a business to run.
the short nap was a welcome break from the business of his office. people constantly in and out, all day long. and now here, on his comfortable sofa which probably cost more than the sum of all the furniture in the average living area, he could just relax for a little while. even the impending argument floated away for a little while. he heard her key in the lock and he sat up straight, his eyes still cloudy from sleep. he rubbed them fiercly before he mussed his hair around a little to make it look like it was supposed to be a mess. a yawn escaped his lips which he quickly tried to supress but it just wasn't happening. he waited patiently for her bitchiness to begin but it wasn't coming, not yet anyway. he returned her quick peck on the lips and pressed his hand to her cheek affectionately. "it was... tiresome and pretty busy, yours?" he asked, stretching his legs out and resting his feet on the coffee table, crossing them at the ankles.
he stretched his back a little, suppressing yet another yawn as he linked fingers with her. "i've missed you, too. i got you some flowers. and the menu is on the table whenever you feel like ordering." he told her, nodding towards the table. the wine was one of the finest that they had in their personalised wine cellar. when he'd bought the apartment, he'd had it entirely redesigned and the wine cellar was probably his favourite part. it sunk into the ground where it was kept cool and dry and one press of a button and the whole things rose from the centre of the kitchen floor. he was definitely one for gadgets and all that kind of thing. even though he didn't even use half of them. a bed with a temperature controlled matress, a waterproof tv in the shower, and the small library he had was just full of gadgets, most of which he didn't even know how to use. "you know, i'm really feeling an early night tonight. i'm so damn tired." he told her, stifling yet another yawn.

Gabrielle had met Noah in New York, and well they kinda hit it off. It was pretty good though She had always thought he was attractive. Well when she was younger she thought he was hot, and wanted to be his friend, or with him. Though it had gotten to the point were their parents were friends so them being together got farther from her mind, and she was sure same from him, or he never made it seem like any other way. Still they remained friends, even though she flew off to NY to see him, their friendship was still strong, no matter how far apart they lived. Especially since the fact that they were always texting one another, on the phone with one another, or skyping one another before she went to bed or off on a date or something. She told him everything, and well kept nothing from him. She couldn't cause they were best friend, she told him those secrets she wouldn't tell her girl friends or parents. She trusted most of his judgements when it came to guys and hope he was being honest with her. She didn't care what other people thought of her cause well Noah always was the only true friend that matter, and now that they were married it was even better. It was strange cause she was suppose to be married to someone else, yet she wasn't, she was married to him. Her parents were shocked, but they couldn't be too upset cause they were family friends, so they approved. She was sure her parents were secretly glad she ran off with him during her wedding, which was bad. She was so sorry, but the guy had never really forgave her, and she really couldn't expect him to.
She had spotted him sleeping on the couch which was a little funny cause well it was still so early in the day. Usually at this time he would still be at work and she would be the one at home sleeping on the couch waiting for him. So it was strange. Though she waited he usually didn't come home to much later, and well she usually went off to bed. She had to sacrifice she suppose, and she wasn't sure if it was taking a strain our on their relationship. She wasn't sure though. Some days she felt lonely and other days she didn't. The last thing she wanted was to get a divorce, so maybe she should talk and wait on having a baby when those thoughts were popping up in her head. To make sure their relationship was stable enough, and it wasn't. The only thing they really fought about was about when they should have a baby and the fact that he worked too much. Usually leaving her in the dusk to do her own thing, even though he promised to meet up with her or something, but end up having to cancel or postpone something. He'd say he was sorry or that he would be there as soon as he could. It was just heart breaking but she just put on one of her smiles, acting as she was just so happy. She was happy to be with him, its just right now she just wasn't. "I can tell, you are already asleep." She smirked tucking some of her hair behind her ear. "Meetings basically all day, boring, I couldn't really focus. I just wanted to get home, ya know." Watching him relax up on the couch, propping his legs up. She smirked and did the same, but leaned back against the arm rest, her feet resting up on him. It was nice to actually get some relax time with her husband, or even actually get to talk to him for once. Something they haven't had in a while.
She pouted a little, but it was a mixture of pout and felt bad that he was sorry, but a little frustrated at the same time. She couldn't be mad, she knew that. Work made her tired, so she couldn't be mad at him for being tired. "I see, they look gorgeous, thank you." She picked them up. She loved colorful flowers and that's exactly what he gave her. She smelled the freshness of them before sitting them back down like they were. She looked at him and moved her feet off of him and stood up from the couch. "Look. I'm going to go take a shower, change into something more comfortable. When I get out I'll order the food, and well if you are sleep when I get out the shower then I'll let you sleep, okay?" She really wasn't looking for a answer, which is why she pecked him on the lips before moving upstairs to their room.Going into their room she picked up her dog, "hey baby." This guy was the guy she usually cuddle up with at night, pathetic, yes, but true. Going to her bathroom she started the shower. They had got the bathroom remodeled, well she got it remodeled cause she spent a lot of time in it. The floor were tile, they had a jacuzzi tub, then they had one of those power shower head with the thick clear blocks covering you. Of course it was big, with vanity lights, amazing sinks, it was just a very updated bathroom that she love, and of course a TV for Noah. She had the iPod built in for her to listen to when she took one of her bubble baths. They were especially nice when Noah took them with her. Putting her dog down she quickly got into the shower, washing up. She could stay in that thing forever, but got out later. Wrapping a towel around her hair, and her robe around her body. She went to her closet, where it was filled with most of her clothes, she was trying to decide if she should go for sexy or just comfortable. Noah was probably asleep though. Sighing she grabbed a slik camisole, something she really haven't wore too many times. She tossed it on after taking the towel from around her head, and finished getting dressed into some rose boxer shorts, her fur bow house shoes, and some pink tights. She even blow her hair, and it straightened up a little. She placed two flower clips in it, before walking out the bathroom and back downstairs, her dog in tow. "You sleep yet?" she grabbed the house phone before sitting back down on the couch, starting to dial the Chinese place.

* NOAH ( JAMES ) WINCHESTER ,
he didn't think she'd noticed that he had fell asleep but he didn't really care. he usually came in to find her napping on the couch so it didn't really matter. he just literally didn't feel like he could keep his eyes open. when she put her feet on him, he rubbed the bottom of them idly. it wasn't like she'd been on her feet all day but it was more of an affectionate thing than anything else. he looked down at her and allowed his hand to stroke her leg gently. again it was more of an affectionate thing, helping her to relax rather than a suggestion for anything else. he couldn't describe it, when she was lay here with him like that, his heart literally swelled with love for her. there was no doubt in his mind whatsoever that he was deep in love with her. but then went she went on like a spoilt child about them having a child, he just thought that the whole thing was a huge mistake. he hated feeling like that, especially when it got to times like this when he couldn't take his eyes off of her, he felt like the luckiest guy in the world. but i was like a huge see-saw.
he kissed her as she went upstairs and lay back with his head on the back of the sofa. his eyes threatened to close again and he didn't want to fight them. he drifted off but the sound of her footsteps on the stairs woke him up again. "no." he said with a smirk when he heard her speak. she sat down and his eyes opened, still fuzzy from sleep. "mmm, what are you ordering?" he asked. the thought of food made his stomach rumble with hunger. he'd eaten an apple all day and he was positively starving. he scooted a little closer to her on the sofa and wrapped his arm around her, looking over her shoulder at the menu she was looking at. he couldn't help burying his face in her hair. he loved the smell of her shampoo, it was so intoxicating to him. and bearing in mind he was tired anyway, it was lulling him off again. he carried on looking over her shoulder. he really didn't know what he wanted to eat. he'd probably just go with whatever she wanted.
he felt his phone vibrating in his pocket and a moment later, it started to ring, loudly. he looked at her, knowing she'd be massively pissed. he sighed and brought his hand to his forehead. he had mentioned that he was having a quiet night in with his wife and to only ring if it was important, meaning this was probably important. "i'll get rid of them, i promise. i have to answer though." he said apologetically, kissing her forehead as he stood up. he didn't even want to know what kind of mood she'd be in when he came back but it wasn't really his fault. he grabbed the phone from his pocket and flipped it up. "this had better be a matter of life and death." he said nastily into the phone. he was sure whoever was on the other end would realise quickly that he wasn't happy seeing as he never used a tone even close to that usually. he was a really good boss. he let people have freedom and in return, they respected him and got their work done. he wanted a happy workplace but he also wanted a happy homelife and he had a feeling the latter had just been ruined for a while. he spoke for a couple of minutes and begged his assistant not to call again. any emergencies could go to his father. he hadn't wanted to do that but if it meant keeping gabby happy, he figured he didn't have much choice. he ended the call, sat down with her again and threw his phone onto the other sofa. "i'm so sorry, baby. they won't call again, i promise." he told her, pulling her to his side again.
