The digital clocks red numbers flickered 6:30am, a completely inhuman time to be awake but there she was sitting on the edge of the bed eyes staring at the red glowing numbers wishing they would just disappear and that sleep would claim her again. Elyssa just sighed as she ran a hand through her auburn hair, it was a slightly different color at the moment because she'd not be able to make up her mind if she wanted to go dark brown or a deep red so in true Elyssa style she had just mixed the two dye packets together to see what would happen. It wasn't to bad at all and Elyssa was growing to like it better than she had the first time she'd seen it. The big question she was facing right now though was nothing to do with her hair but was more along the line of what the hell was she meant to do at this time in the morning, she highly doubted any other human being was going to be awake or at least none that were her age and of interest to her. Standing up from her bed, her feet pressed against the cold wooden floor and she stretched her arms out a little. First thing first though and that was getting some caffiene in to her system so that she would actually be able to function properly. Like probably a million other people Elyssa had become heavily dependant on her dear friend coffee and could not get through a day without it. If she didn't get her morning cup of coffee then nobody would be safe cause she'd be a total moody bitch. She wandered downstairs to the kitchen and flipped the switch of the coffee machine, before jumping up to sit on the side as she waited for the machine to deliver the goods for her. It was pretty damn awesome having her own house but Elyssa wasn't sure why she'd gone and brought a five bedroom house with all the extra crap that had been in the brochure thing, she was going to blame the sales lady that had been to damn persuasive when showing her the place. It was really beautiful though all opened planned and airy with so many windows that the place was always lite by natrul sunlight. The place also gave her room to set up the phtography studio for her work, which wasn't a bad thing at all. Seeming as work was the most important thing to Elyssa, she hardly had time to have a life because there was always jobs that needed to be done. Her photography company had really taken off and she was always being hired for magazine shoots and model stuff as well as working weddings and massive hollywood parties. It never got boring and Elyssa couldn't imagine doing anything else with her life, nothing would be as much fun. The coffee macine made a beeping noise and Elyssa hopped down and smiled as her mug fileld up with the good stuff. She added about four scoops of sugar before taking a sip. It felt liek the caffiene got to work straightt away because she soon didn't feel as sleepy as she had moments before and was now having the urge to actually get dressed an do something even if all the other normal people were in bed still.
Finishing up the mug of coffee, Elyssa put it back under the macine to make another cup whilst she headed back upstairs and to her room. She wasn't sure what to do just yet, but firstly she needed to shower and get dressed before she even thought about leaving the house. As amazing as she looked in her pj shorts and little vest, Elyssa didn't fancy dealing with people staring at her today. Taking out some clean clothes from her closet, she grabbed a towel from the linen closet on her way into the bathroom. She put it all down on the small counter in the bathroom, before stripping off the clothes she was wearing and stepping into her shower. Turning the water on and making sure it was nice and hot, Elyssa let it run over her skin. She spent about twenty minutes just letting the water wash over her, nothing ever felt as good as a hot shower but Elyssa soon stepped out wrapping a white fluffy towel around her slim body. Looking in the bathroom mirror she sighed softly, she wasn't ever sure what she was expecting when she looked in the mirror but for some reason she was always disappointed with herself. Shaking her head Elyssa just looked away and quickly dried her body off and slipped into the clean clothes. She tied some of her hair back but let some of it fall out of the hair band, Elyssa had never been one for looking completely tidy unless it was a important event that required her to dress up so. Walking out of the bathroom she went straight back downstairs and picked up her mug of fresh coffee again adding the four or so scoops of sugar to it. She flicked the tv on in the kitchen as she sat on one of the stools drinking the coffee slowly. It was still only 7:15am, and Elyssa had no idea why time seemed to be slipping away so slowly this morning. She had MTV on in the background but wasn't paying to much attention to the music videos that were being played, most of them all looked the same and unless a hot girl caught her eye she wasn't interested in them. It was just to have something on in the background whilst she tried to figure out where to go and kill some time. Glancing around, Elyssa spotted her camera on the dinign room table along with a pile of the photos she'd developed the other day for some fashion company. Sure Elyssa probably spent far to much time taking photos but now having spotted her camera she had the urge to go out and just take some photos for fun. It was always good to just mess around and not be all serious liek she had to be for work and stuff. Hopping down from the stool she was sat on, Elyssa went over and grabbed the camera up fromt he able and then the keys to her GMC truck from the kitchen counter. Walking outside, Elyssa smiled a little feeling the warmth of the sun on her skin as she walked across her drive and got into the truck.
Putting the truck into reverse, Elyssa backed off the drive and headed out on to the main road. Her only dilema right now was were she was meant to go to take photos now, she knew nearly all the best spots for taking photos and was normalyl always going to them. Today though she wanted to pick one of the places that she hadn't been for awhile, and it took her ten minutes of just aimless driivng to finallt decide that she'd head up to the hollywood sign and get some pictures of the skyline and the view fromt here. Which was going to look amazing with how clear the sky was and the bright sun. Driving the short cut route that she knew, Elyssa made it up to the sign in about half an hour and she left her car off the side of the road and double checked it was locked cause she didn't fancy having to walk down if her car got stolen. Walking the little way, Elyssa wasn't surprised to find the place completely desserted it was pretty rare she ever found anyone else up here when she came up either really early in the morning or late at night to take photos, that was one of the manis reasons Elyssa came here. She checked the battery and memory on her camera as she slipped through a gap in the fence that no one but her knew about or at least she was sure she only knew about that led to an area just above the sighn. No doubt she was meant to be able to get to it being that there was a fence there and all but that had never really stopped Elyssa. Getting up there, Elyssa took a moment to look at the view before she got to work taking photos. When got into taking photos she normally zoned out everything else which was why she hadn't really noticed the footsteps approaching from behind her until she herd someone clear their throat and give her a heart attack. "What the hell?!" Elyssa said as she turned around her blue eyes coming to rest on Pandora of all the bloody people. "Seriously panda, sneaking up on people is not a healthy hobby, okay?" Frowns at the girl for a moment. "Why are you here anyways? This is my spot" Elyssa asked as she lowred her camera and waited for panda to say something, not that she was expecting anything more than a stuttered answer consiting of an Uh and a few Umms and possibly an Ohh to spice things up.

Pandora wondered what she was going to do for the day. She could finish up some homework, but that would get done soon. After all of that she wouldn't have anything to do. Being in college she got a lot of homework, but she didn't have anything to do, so she finished it usually in about two hours. That was pretty lame of her, she guess she was a nerd, or a loser cause that's what she mostly did on her weekends. After that she would clean her house, but her house was usually cleaned. Especially since she cleaned it out of boredom the day before. Now she really had nothing to do. She hardly had any friends, so calling someone up to see what they were doing were out of the question. It was sad cause her contacts in her phone only consist of her mom and dad, grandparents, voicemail, and of course her twin. That was it. Her sister was the social one, she had all the friends, all the guys wanted her, and well Pandora was the shy one who hid behind baggy clothes, hair up, and glasses. That's just who she was. A shy girl. Her twin sister on the other hand was outgoing, energetic with tons of friends. They looked exactly a like, but were so different it was sad, but yet interesting. People either loved Aurora for always speaking her mind, no matter how blunt the statement might have been, or hate her because they didn't get her cruel mind. It was all jokes and games to her. If you didn't favor her, you just might favor her own quietness, and wonder how these two could possibly come from the same wound. It still amazed her when they had dinner together with the family. Aurora always had things say about what new happened to her at the mall or something, Pandora just hit behind her sketches.
Curled up in her covers on her bed, her sketch book in her hand, her glasses sitting at the rim of her nose. Her pencil designing a pair of shorts to go with with a shirt that said 'CARPE DIEM' in big black arial heavy letters. Carpe diem seize the day. That was always one of her favorite quotes, and she had picked it up from a movie...Dead Poet's Society. A pretty intense film. Something she should be doing but most likely would be in her house all day unless she needed to go out and run some errands. Like shopping for whatever she was going to eat that night. Adding some colors to her design, she looked back, pretty amazed. Growing up she sucked at drawling things, and well she pretty much still. Unless t came to any type of fashion, and now she was actually pretty good drawling people, something she had learned in college. Flipping her big sketch book shut, and sat it on her night stand. Ready to go out for the day, do something. She really didn't know what she could do. It was LA, and well there was tons of places to shop, or eat. Its just that she never liked to do those things alone. It felt as if people were starring, thinking she was pathetic for not inviting some kind of company. Pulling back her covers she sled up out of her queen sized bed, and fixed the sheets and covers instantly. Making sure the pillows were perfect in place. Yes, she was a weird one. Taking off her reading glasses she sat them on top of her sketch book, moving over towards her master bathroom. Luckily for her, her parents were back in Chicago and let their daughters have their LA home to live in. Aurora didn't want it though. The house was huge, too pick even for four people, and Aurora had said she wanted to break free from splurging from the parents. So Pandora lived there all alone, and Aurora moved into a very nice apartment. Pulling her hair down from the scrunchy, she tried to run her hand through the mess of a curls. It was all tangled up, and well she pretty much failed when it came to her hair, but if she took her time getting ready it was pretty decent to look at.
Pandora took off her clothes before stepping into the shower stall that could probably fit about five people in with ease, and not being overcrowded. She showered up, and washed her hair before stepping out of it, pulling on her terry cloth robe on. She made sure to squeeze out any extra water out her hair before stepping out onto the tile floor. Grabbing her blow drier with the comb, she plugged in, drying and combing away the smaller tangles. When it was done, she grabbed her straightener to straighten the now curled puff ball on her head. Of course it took a while before she got it silky smooth, but when she did she brushed it back into a bun like, but curled the hair in the back. That took at lease a hour just to finish her hair, which was shocking cause she usually took longer. Another shocking thing she was actually getting dressed, something she rarely did. Going to her walk in closet that was still somewhat in the bathroom area, she flickered on the light. Being a fashion major she had a lot of clothes. She did like to shop, she loved fashion. Some of those clothes she even made herself, and usually the first thing she wore. Most of the time when she got dressed it was just for college, and that's when she would through on some college sweatshirt, and some baggy pair of sweats or something. Grabbing some underwear and a bra she put them on first, her robe dropping to the floor so she could put the bra on. Grabbing a pair of her rolled shorts, something she had sketched earlier that morning, she sled them up her legs and hips. Fastening the button she reached for one of her undershirts before putting on a light blue knitted top. Pandora was graced with the fact that she loved fashion, and knew fashion, so she knew what was good together, and what wasn't. It never took her that long to get dressed when she actually showed off that hourglass figure of hers.
Grabbing leather ostrich strap belt she put it between her legs before unbutton her shorts, and tucking her shirt in before buttoning it once again. Quickly she put the belt on top, and finished getting dressed by grabbing and sliding into a pair of gold toned bow sandals. Picking up her robe she walked back into her bathroom, turning on the facet to finish getting ready. After brushing her teeth and doing her make up and adding her long mixed metal and pearl chain necklace. Picking up her keys from her vanity table, and her cell phone off her bed she made her way towards the garage. Driving down the long drive way in her red Mercedes Benz she now wondered where the hell she was going. She could always go pick up some food from Wal*Mart or something, and go to the park. She really didn't know, but she just continued to drive. It was still early in the morning so there wasn't any bad traffic going on, so she moved around lanes pretty quickly. She could always go to the Hollywood sign. She only actually been to see it once, and well even then she really wasn't paying attention. Her attention was on the guy who thought it was okay to grope her up when she hardly knew anything about him. Blind dates always failed miserable. Parking her car in a lot, she made sure to put the alarm on before hopping out. Her phone in her pockets, and keys dangling in her hand as she moved along the sidewalk. Looking up the sign, she did some departures, so she could get a better view. She felt like Dora the Explorer as she had to climb up some things, it was clearly not the best idea that she had decided to wear sandals, but guess it was better than heels. Licking her lips she saw a person behind the fence. Arching her eyebrows she moved towards it, she herself going through it. It was a girl. Clearing her throat the girl instantly turned around and swearing. Her eyes widen, and her heart beating faster. The last time she had talked to Elyssa they had gotten into a fight and Elyssa had proclaimed she no longer wanted to be friends with Pandora. Why, all because Pandora had opened up her big ole' mouth and said something about it not being right to be a lesbian. She couldn't help it. Her family were strict Christian, and that just wasn't right in their religion. The fact that she tongued down a girl and actually wanted it to happen again, and had naughty thoughts of Elyssa frustrated her. Pandora didn't know what she wanted when it came to a relationship. Elyssa sprung it on her, she thought they were just gonna forget about the kiss and never talk about it. Apparently she never got the memo and had decided that she wanted to discuss it. It all went downhill from there. Sighing, she looked down at her shoes. "Um, sorry. I wasn't trying to sneak up on you." She looked up at the girl who was taking pictures, and bit down on her lip out of being nervous and unsettled. "Uh, I didn't know this was your spot...Or that people had their own spots. Look, I'll leave you alone okay." She really didn't plan on seeing Elyssa that day, and wasn't ready for it. She slowly moved back, giving her one last glance before turning her back towards hers.

Coming up to Hollywood Sign was always fun, not only because Elyssa could get soem amazing photos but because it was also quiet and a good place to do thinking. Though Elyssa wasn't to sure she wanted to be dwelling on what was on her mind lately because it wasn't a subject that made her exactly feel great about herself. Pushing down the button, Elyssa smiled at the reassuring clicking sound the camera made as it capture the LA skyline from where she stood. Elyssa moved around slighty though made sure not to get to close to the edge, last thing she wanted was to go tumbling down the hill or moutain or whatever they called the thing. With ease and carefulness though Elyssa moved and took the photos that she wanted to get jsut more to add to the already massive collection she had back at her house. Yawning she stood back for a moment, just looking at the view and starting to think about allt he things that were playing on her mind even as she tried to push them away. When she herd the footsteps behind her Elyssa thought she had been busted by security or something and was going to get done for tresspassing or whatever it was, but instead she turned round and found herself staring right at the source of her confusion. Pandora.
One day Elyssa swore she would understand why she had to be such a bitch to people, and then maybe she would changed and actually become a nice person or at least be polite to people when she first meets them. Having Panroda suddenly appear was well it felt like pretty damn bad luck to be honest, because just as Elyssa thought it would be possible to forget the girl she just appeared right there, dragging up all the feelings again. When Elyssa had walked out of Pandora's house after the last arguement they'd had it wasn't like she was expecting to see the girl ever again. Bringing up the kiss had sparked the whole argeument but in a way Elyssa didn't regret it becuase well she was fed up with acting like it hadn't happened between them. At least now though she had clear idea of how wrong Pandora thought it all was, which made it obvious to Elyssa she had been wasting her time with the girl. After all why bother anymore with trying to get Pandora if the girl was sitting there professing to be some strict christian that was straight and wanted guys, last time Elyssa checked not even she could trump god so bascially she was screwed. And it was driving her insane that she liked Pandora so much when she couldn't even have the girl, it was messed up and a big reason as to why Elyssa had walked out and told Pandora to forget they had ever met each other because at least that way Elyssa could attempt to forget the other girl if she didn't have to see her all the time. "Okay, fine whatever" Elyssa just shrugged slightly when Pandora spoke about the whole sneaking up thing.
Standing there, Elyssa mentally kicked herself as she started to watch Pandora walk away from her, why did everything have to be so difficult with this girl? Never in as long as Elyssa could remember had she felt bad about beaing mean to someone but when it came to Pandora it was all so different. "I'm sorry okay? I'm sorry that we can't be friends. I'm sorry that i'm a total bitch and I'm sorry i messed everything up, okay?" Okay Elyssa was pretty sure she'd never said sorry that much in her entire life, and now here she was saying to a girl that she should just be letting walk away to keep everything simple. Obviously simple and Elysaa were never to things that went together very well, things always seemed to have to be complicated for her and if they weren't then she would make them complicated some how. Elyssa looked down for a moment and then back up to Pandora, not really expecting for what she said to make a big difference, if Pandora was smart then she would just carry on walking away an dofrget like nothing ever happened. "We can't be friends because....i like you to much Pandora and i just can't do it...be around you and act like a friend" She frowned, fiddling with a button on her camera as she spoked, not able to make eye contact whilst she finally admitted her reason. Not having a clue what else to say or do, Elyssa just sunk down and sat there turned away slightly from pandora, staring out at the view from the top of the hill.

When people came to LA they see the Hollywood sign. Though its different from seeing it yards or miles away. Seeing it up close, lights shining on the white letters. A lot of people who lived in LA were there because they wanted to make it to Hollywood. The waiters and waitresses, the people who did pity jobs to pay their rent. Pandora was never like that. She didn't want to become famous. Why would she? She hated when people looked at her for a long period of time, hated talking to random people, and too shy to introduce herself. She was not fame material, unless you counted looks. Even then, she loved fashion, but some days she tosses that fashion book out the window and wear whatever. Her sister wanted Hollywood, and she was making her way up the list every time they talked. So you could easily say she was kicking ass and taking names when it came to making sure people knew who she was, and what she wanted. She was even starting on her single. They didn't get along, but she was proud of her sister. She just hoped she finished college so she has something to fall back on if she needs to. Hollywood changed people, which is why she didn't understand why so many people craved to be famous. Pandora just wanted to stay out of all that, but one day, she did want to be the one designing celebrities red carpet attires, be peoples personal designs. That would be amazing on so many levels, but only time would tell.
Elyssa was Elyssa. She really didn't change for people, and even though she had admitted her feelings for herself, she was still being the all about me, bitch, what she wanted. Pandora had still wanted to remain friends. Elyssa was like the only person she could relax with, and sometimes her sister. Still, she lost a friend because she was stupid. The girl had told her to relax, she should have known it meant nothing. Especially when she pushed her away when her hand was doing a little bit too much touching feeling. That was just her, and she didn't know what to do. She felt bad for taking it that far. God had to be frowning down on her. He didn't create man and woman so that the same sex could be together. He wanted a man and a wife. The man bring home the bacon, and the wife would take care of the household. Of course she was with today's time and wanted to work just as bad as her future husband, and she would. She just couldn't see herself betraying herself and God. She guess Elyssa couldn't see that. Of course she couldn't because she was always about her. She always had that bitch attire when it came to her. Pandora couldn't really do anything anymore. She was attracted to her, and some days wanted her touch, but she wouldn't let herself fall for that lifestyle.
Rolling her eyes when she 'fine and whatever-ed' her. She really didn't expect much different. Pandora suppose she had hurt the girl, but it was also tough on her. Did Elyssa think it would just be okay for a straight girl to be with a girl, especially when her family were strict Christian, well Aurora wasn't. Pandora had loved going to Church twice during the week, loved being blessed, and loved that any sins she might have taken part over could be cleaned and demolished. She just loved her religion, which is why she just couldn't do this thing with Elyssa. Hearing her say sorry she turned to look at the girl. She really didn't expect a apology, well so many. That was a change. Looking at the ground, and back over at her she nodded slowly. It was her fault that their friendship would never extend or be the same. She had to bring up that one day, and wanted more. Pandora just wouldn't toss it in her face though, or try not to. "Okay. I mean its your choice that you don't want to be friends. I have to deal with it, like you have to deal with the fact that we can't be together in that sense." She grabbed the end of her hair, twirling some pieces on her finger, trying to help her nerves. Nodding her head it felt like she was being punched. She did want to be friends, and Elyssa had just said she couldn't do it. She somewhat understood though. "Um, well, I get it. We'll just not be friends, and I'll try not to run into you anymore. Is that cool?" She manged to stare at the Hollywood sign and avoid any eye contact with Elyssa. Looking to see her turn herself around, she signed again. "I'm sorry that it ends this way, but I'm not sorry that I'm putting my family and God first Elyssa. You be selfish all you want." She kissed her on her cheek and carefully moved down the hill, hoping not to fall on her butt and tumble downwards. She turned looking back at the beauty one last time.

Hollywood was home and it always had been for Elyssa. This was were she had been born and raised so the whole LA lifestyle just came naturally to her because really she'd never known any different and had no want to. She loved living in LA and well there wasn't really a part of it she didn't enjoy. High school and college had never beer for Elyssa though and she'd dropped out in her junior year to start her photography company and so far that had been the best descion of her life. Her company took off after a few hard monthes and now she was getting to shoot ad campaigns for massive fashion companies and for record labels. It'd been hard work though but Elyssa couldn't imagine herself doing anything different with her life, she loved photography and she loved to mess around with a bit of medling every now and then. A lot of people came to Hollywood thinking they want to be famous, but to Elyssa there was a big difference between being famous and being succesful. She wouldn't say being famous was a bad thing but Elyssa was pretty sure it wasn't all it was cracked up to be, afterall she'd met her fair share of celebs and only a handful of them had ever seemed genuinely happy. In Elyssa books happiness should come before anything else, you should be happy with the life you lead and always live it to the full because you don't want to ever have regrets about not doing something you really wanted to.
Things seemed to have gone to far, causing for everything to become confusing and Elyssa wasn't to sure how to work it all out. How could she have fallen for Pandora? Heck she was struggling to even remember why they'd even started talking to each other but one thing Elyssa was clear on was the fact they were the complete opposites of each other in every way possible. Maybe that had been what caused the inital attraction to the girl, Elyssa was so use to being around people that liked to party, misbehave and cause chaos everythime they went out. So Pandora was like a breath of fresh air, someone that wasn't caught up in the LA scene. Elyssa hadn't really thought it all through though and now because of that, she was in a situation that didn't seem to have a solution that would leave both of them happy. At one point friends had seemed possible but after the little makeout session that went to far there was just no way Elyssa could see Pandora as just a friend. It was hard to try and see things from Pandora's point of view and Elyssa was really trying to but she just couldn't get her head aroudn the whoel religon thing. It was something that had never been part of her life so she just couldn't understand it. What she did get though is that it was important to Pandora and that just seemed to be something that wasn't going to change. No matter how much Elyssa tried to go after her. Coming uo to the Hollywood sign was meant to help Elyssa clear her mind but so far everything was just more confusing and she was feeling emotions that felt almost foreign to her. Elyssa looked over to Pandora her blue eyes sweeping over the girl, trying to figure out what was so different about this girl that she had her heart beating faster everytime they spoke or even saw each other. Looking down at her camera, Elyssa sighed softly as she fiddled with one of the buttons trying to get her thoughts into some kind of order in the hope that it would help her put coherent sentances together and not look like ever more of a fool than she already did right now. She glanced up again, looking to Pandora knowing already that she was messing it all up.
Nothing seemed to make sense anymore and Elyssa wasn't really sure what she was suppose to be thinking. She wanted Pandora but that wasn't going to happen, and Elyssa wished she'd realised that sooner so that none of this would have happened. Being ever the confident one though Elyssa had thought she'd be able to get Pandora without much of a struggle, but she'd been proven so so wrong. Apologizing wasn't something Elyssa liked having to do, but what else was left? At least this way Pandora would know she wasn't trying to do all of this to be a bitch. That deep deep down Elyssa was actually slightly a good person when she bothered to try. "Its just meant to be easier this way..." Elyssa sighed, wishing that what she said was ture but really either way things were going to be difficult and not what the other wanted. If they were friends it would mean having to always know in the back her mind that she'd never have Pandora in the way she really wanted her and Elyssa was sure that wasn't fair on either of them. "Okay, cool.." She nodded slightly, what choice did she have but to agree with all of this. Elyssa went to say something else but was cut off when Pandora kissed her cheek and she totally forgot her words. Elyssa knew she couldn't be angry at Pandora, the girl had made her choice and now they both had to deal with it all.
"I'll miss you" What more was there to say, Elyssa didn't have any words left. She wanted to say more but what would be the point? For the first time Elyssa wasn't going to get what she wanted and wether or not she was selfish Elyssa didn't know because all she was trying to be honest and to let Pandora go. Her heart sunk as she stood there watching Pandora walk away. Elyssa wanted to fight for the girl but it seemed like it would be impossible, like there was nothing she'd ever be able to do to be good enough for Pandora. It hurt and Elyssa wanted to cry but she refused to let anyone ever see that happen and Elyssa wasn't going to let that change today. Instead she closed her eyes taking a deep breath, bottling up all the emotions she couldn't deal with right now. Maybe some things just aren't meant to be, but Elyssa hated herself for the fact she could have been so stupid as to fall for someone that she clearly would never be able to have. It seemed like such a cliche, like some kind of movie, but the only difference was this didn't have a happy ending where everyone ended up getting exactly what they wanted.
